  • 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. oil in each cup

    Sift together in large bowl the dry ingredients.

    Add the milk and egg and mix well.

    Heat muffin cups until oil is hot.

    Add mixture and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
