- 8 medium White Rose potatoes, cooked
- 10 hard-boiled eggs
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 pt. sour cream
- bread crumbs or cracker meal
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Melt butter; stir in sour cream until smooth.

2Set aside. Butter bottom of a 13 1/2 x 8 3/4-inch baking dish.

3Slice 4 potatoes to form bottom layer.

4Salt and pepper to taste.

5Slice 5 eggs to form next layer.

6Cover with approximately half of the butter-sour cream mixture.

7Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, eggs and butter-sour cream mixture.

8Sprinkle top with bread crumbs or cracker meal.

9Bake in a 400° oven for 30 minutes or until dish is bubbling.

10Serves 6 to 8.
