  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Karo syrup, light or dark (your preference)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 2 unbaked pie shells (not deep dish)

Directions

    Mix melted margarine and sugar together in mixing bowl.

    Add syrup, eggs, vanilla and pecans.

    Mix with spoon, do not use mixer.

    Pour 1/2 of mixture into each pie shell.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 35 minutes.
