- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 c. cream-style corn
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. boiling water
Directions

1Combine potatoes, carrots, onion, celery, salt and pepper; add water.

2Cover and simmer for 10 minutes; do not drain.

3Make a cream sauce with margarine, flour and milk.

4Add cheese; stir until melted.

5Add corn and undrained vegetables.

6Heat; do not boil.

7Serves 6 to 8.
