  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate (Hershey's cocoa)
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 9 double graham crackers
  • 3/4 c. chocolate chips

Directions

    Cream the margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Blend in dry ingredients with creamed mixture.

    Place 1/3 of the batter in a small bowl and add 1 ounce of unsweetened chocolate and walnuts.

    In 2/3 batter bowl, add the chocolate chips.

    Spread the 1/3 chocolate batter mixture in a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Arrange graham crackers on top of chocolate batter, then spread white batter

    with chocolate chips on top of graham crackers.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cut into bars. Makes about 3 dozen.
