Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1/2 lb. ground veal
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/3 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • pinch of dried thyme
  • pinch of dried marjoram
  • 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

    In large bowl, mix meat and set aside.

    In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

    Add celery and onions; cook until soft, about 10 minutes.

    Add celery and onion and all other ingredients to meat mixture, except chili sauce.

    Combine well and form into a loaf.

    Place meat loaf into baking dish and top with chili sauce. Bake 1 hour in preheated oven at 350°.
