Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) cans biscuits
  • 5 slices cotton salami, cut into quarters
  • 5 slices cooked ham
  • 5 slices Swiss cheese, cut into quarters (or both)
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced red onion, separated into rings
  • 1/2 tsp. poppy seed

Directions

    Cut all meat into quarters.

    Heat oven to 400°.

    Press or roll each biscuit into 4-inch round.

    Place 2 pieces of each meat and 2 pieces of each cheese on each round (more if desired).

    Top with onions. Top with remaining biscuits; press edges together to seal. Prick top with fork; sprinkle with poppy seed.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

    Bake at 400° for 9 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.

    Let stand 3 to 4 minutes.

    Cut each in half. Makes 20 appetizers.
