Black Bean Spaghetti

  • 1 can (14.5 Oz.) Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can 14. 5oz Black Beans
  • 1 can 4.5oz Diced Green Chilies
  • 1 leaf Bay Leaf
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 dash Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 pound Thin Spaghetti
  • 2 Tablespoons Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Directions

    In a saucepan over medium heat, stir tomatoes, beans, green chilies, bay leaf, garlic salt, oregano and black pepper.

    Cook until thickened, approximately 45 minutes.

    Cook spaghetti according to directions on box and drain.

    Remove the bay leaf from the sauce and either mix the pasta with the sauce or serve the sauce over spaghetti.

    Garnish with parmesan cheese and serve with toasty bread.
