- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. chocolate wafers
- 3/4 stick butter, cut in pieces
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 lb. cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- cherry pie filling
- whipped cream
Directions

1Butter 9-inch pan.

2Finely crush cookies.

3Cut in butter until mixture is well blended.

4Press crumbs into bottom of pan and up sides to 3/4-inch of top.

5Refrigerate 30 minutes.

6Preheat oven to 350°.

7Heat whipping cream and chocolate over low heat until melted.

8Cool 10 minutes.

9Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

10Beat in eggs.

11Add chocolate and vanilla.

12Stir well. Pour into crust.

13Bake 1 1/4 hours.

14Cool completely.

15Serve with cherry pie filling and whipped cream.
