  • 1/3 c. Crisco
  • 1 can Carnation milk
  • 1/4 oz. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
  • 1/2 can black walnuts
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1/3 jar Marshmallow Creme

Directions

    Combine cake mix with eggs, Crisco, water, milk, 1/2 of nuts and flavorings.

    Bake in two layers for 35 minutes at 350°.
