Ingredients
- 3 lb. okra
- 3/4 tsp. mustard seed
- pinch of tarragon
- 2 hot dry chili peppers
- 4 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. salt (uniodized)
- 2 tsp. dill
- 3/4 tsp. celery seed
- 5 small cloves garlic
- 2 1/2 tsp. alum
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Divide okra into 5 pint jars.

2Leave short stem (stem down in first layer, then vice-versa).

3Divide dill, garlic, peppers and alum amount jars.

4Combine rest of ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil.

5Pour over okra and seal jars.

6Allow to pickle at least 2 weeks before serving.
