- 1 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. black walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Beat butter, 2 c. powdered sugar and vanilla on low speed; continue on high until light and fluffy.

2Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Mix 2 c.

4powdered sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt and add, alternately, with milk to butter mixture, beating well with each addition.

5Stir in walnuts.

6In small bowl beat egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks are formed.

7Gently fold into creamed mixture.

8Divide into 3 prepared baking pans.

9Bake 35 minutes on 350°.

10Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans; cool completely on racks.
