  • 2 sticks whipped margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 c. chopped black walnuts

    Mix margarine, Crisco and sugar together.

    Mix well.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add milk alternately with flour.

    Add flavorings and then the walnuts; mix well.

    Pour into a greased and floured tube cake pan and bake starting in a cold oven at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
