- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. apple juice
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. blackberry jam
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar and add 1 egg at a time.

2Beat well. Sift flour with spices and salt.

3Add soda to buttermilk.

4Fold in flour alternately with buttermilk mixture.

5Add juice and mix in pecans and jam.

6Pour into three well-greased and floured pans. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.

7Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
