- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. blackberry jam
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until

3Add the slightly beaten eggs and mix well.

4Dissolve the soda in the buttermilk or sour milk.

5Add the flour and cinnamon to the sugar-egg mixture along with the soda-milk mixture.

6Blend in the jam.

7Bake in greased shallow baking pan 40 minutes at 325°.

8Cut in squares and serve warm with butterscotch sauce.
