- 4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. bleached (white) raisins
- 1/2 c. currants
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

2Sprinkle a little over the raisins and currants.

3Cut in butter with a pastry blender, then add eggs (beaten) and milk.

4Turn onto floured board and mold into round loaf.

5Place in greased skillet and bake 1 hour in a 350° oven.

6Keeps for several days and is good for tea sandwiches.
