Blue Cheese Olive Ball

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. brandy
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh or frozen chopped chives
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped olives
  • 1 c. finely chopped pecans

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth.

    Add Blue cheese and beat well.

    Stir in chives and chopped olives.

    Mixture will be soft.

    Shape mixture into a ball and roll in pecans.

    Refrigerate overnight. (This allows the flavor to ripen.) Serve with crackers.
