Blue Cheese with Date Spread

- 4 ounces blue cheese
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups dates, finely chopped
- Basil leaves, washed and patted dry
- Assorted crackers, for serving

1In a food processor fitted with a metal blade, combine blue cheese and cream cheese.

2Process until smooth and blended.

3Transfer to air-tight container and chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

4Once chilled, form cheese into 6 even sized balls and roll each blue cheese ball in chopped dates.

5Serve cheese set on clean basil leaves.
