- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. margarine
- 2 egg yolks, unbeaten (reserve whites)
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. blueberries, drained (fresh, frozen or canned)
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Place flour and sugar in large mixing bowl.

2Cut in margarine until size of small peas.

3Measure 3/4 cup of mixture and reserve for crumb topping.

4Add unbeaten egg yolks and 1 cup milk to remaining crumb mixture in bowl.

5Beat for 3 minutes until well blended (electric mixer at low).

6Beat 2 egg whites until stiff, but not dry.

7Fold gently, but thoroughly, into batter.
