  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 4 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. blueberries, washed

    Blend sugar and butter.

    Add dry ingredients with milk; beat well.

    Add eggs; beat well.

    Fold in blueberries that are slightly moist and have been floured with about 2 tablespoons flour saved from the flour.

    (Flouring the blueberries keeps them from sinking to the bottom of the pan.)

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
