Blueberry Chardonnay Jam

Ingredients
- 5 cups fresh blueberries
- 2 cups Chardonnay wine
- 1 (1 3/4 ounce) box regular powdered fruit pectin
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 5 1/2 cups sugar
Directions

1Put berries in 6 quart heavy pot. Coarsely crush berries. Stir in all ingredients except sugar.

2Bring to full rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Add sugar.

3Return to full rolling boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat, skim off foam with metal spoon.

5Ladle hot jam into hot, sterilized 1/2 pint canning jars, leaving 1/4 headroom. Wipe jar rims. Add lids.Process in boiling water canner for 5 minutes. Start timing when water returns to boil.
