  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 3 c. blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 c. sugar (optional)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (dry from box)
  • 2 sticks melted margarine or butter
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. sugar, sprinkled over top of layers

Directions

    Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Spread ingredients in layers in order given in dish.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes, until it tests done and is brown on top.

    If the berries are frozen when put in baking dish, the baking time will be increased.
