Blueberry Dumplings

- 2 pt. blueberries
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- Bisquick
- flour
Directions

1Wash blueberries well and place in a large pot.

2Turn your burner on medium heat.

3Put stick of butter in and the sugar. Prepare dumplings as indicated on Bisquick box (if your family likes dumplings, prepare a double batch).

4Let the berries slowly come to a slight boil (stir often).

5Spoon in the dumplings, turn down the heat and cover the pot for about ten minutes.

6Remove the top and let cook until the dumplings are done.

7Cut into a dumpling with a knife or fork to see if it is done in the center. If the juice is not thick, use a mixture of flour and water to thicken the liquid.

8Serve over vanilla ice cream or eat by itself.
