  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • few drops butternut flavoring (optional)
  • 1 c. blueberries

Directions

    Cut first 3 ingredients together until coarse like meal.

    Add milk, egg and flavoring to flour mixture; mix.

    Fold in blueberries.

    Fill greased muffin tin 3/4 full.

    Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes, or until brown.

    Makes 12 muffins.
