Blueberry Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz) pkg. black cherry or black raspberry jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 (8 1/4 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 2 c. fresh, frozen or canned blueberries, drained if needed
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Add boiling water to jello, stir to dissolve; add pineapple and blueberries and pour into a 2 quart rectangular casserole dish and chill until set.

    Combine cream cheese, sour cream and sugar, mix well and spread over chilled set jello mix.

    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.

    Garnish with a few blueberries and pieces of pineapple, optional.
