- 2 (15 oz.) can blueberries
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, mix blueberries and their juice with sugar.

2Cook until juice starts to boil.

3Reduce heat to low; simmer.

4In small bowl, mix flour, baking powder, orange rind, nutmeg and salt.

5Stir in milk until just moistened. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls on top of simmering berries. Cover skillet and cook 15 minutes or until dough is puffed.

6Serve dumplings with blueberry sauce in skillet.

7Makes 8 servings.
