Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 c. apple cider vinegar (do not substitute)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. Coleman's dry mustard

Directions

    Combine flour, granulated sugar and salt in top of double boiler.

    Break in the 2 eggs and mix thoroughly.

    Dilute the vinegar with a little water and stir it in well.
  4. 4
    Lastly, add milk. Place over boiling water and cook and stir until thick.

    Remove from heat.

    Add the butter and stir until melted.
  7. 7
    Add mustard and stir until dissolved.
  8. 8
    Excellent served hot on hot salmon.
