- 1/2 cups Salt
- 2 pounds Peanuts; Raw
Directions

1In a large stock pot, bring the water and salt to boil.

2Add the peanuts and stir to settle the peanuts.

3Cover and reduce to a slow boil/simmer.

4Check water level every hour and taste for doneness.

5Add more salt if desired.

6Continue to cook peanuts until totally softened.

7Total cook time may take up to 6+ hours.
