Boston Cream Fudge

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. canned milk or 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 2/3 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, coarse chopped

Directions

    Cook sugar, cream and syrup to 234° (soft ball).

    Remove from heat.

    Add butter and vanilla.

    Beat until thick.

    Add pecans. Pour into buttered dish or drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
