  • 2 to 3 lb. smoked shoulder butt
  • prepared mustard
  • whole cloves
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Place meat in deep kettle; cover with water.

    Simmer for 60 minutes per pound or until tender.

    Remove from water.

    Place in shallow baking pan.

    Spread meat with mustard and stud with whole cloves.

    Sprinkle with brown sugar.

    Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until meat is glazed.
