- 1 lb. lean ground meat
- 1 c. each: chopped onions and green peppers
- 1 (14 to 16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Directions

1Saute meat, onion and peppers until lightly browned.

2Stir in tomatoes, seasonings, rice and cabbage.

3Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes or until cabbage is tender and crisp.

4Sprinkle cheese on top.

5Cover 2 to 3 minutes to melt cheese.
