- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 pinch of salt
Directions

1Whisk cornstarch and 2 tablespoons bourbon in a small bowl until well combined.

2Heat cream and sugar in a small sauce pan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3Whisk in cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat to low and cook until sauce thickens, 3 to 5 minutes.

5Take off of heat.

6Stir in salt, butter and remaining bourbon.

7Drizzle warm sauce over ice cream.

8*Sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
