- 1 stick softened butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 T Crisco
- 2 pinches salt
- 1 t vanilla
- 8 cups powdered sugar
- milk or cream as needed to get right consistency
- dried strawberry (or berry), cut into bits
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder to taste/color
- pink gel food color
Directions

1Beat butter, cream cheese, & Crisco until well-blended. Add pinch of salt. Sift 1 cup of sugar with cocoa, add to butter mixture. Then add rest of sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add berry & cocoa & pink food coloring and adjust as needed to look pinky-brown.

2Add milk or cream to get consistency to allow piping into brain lobes.

3Refrigerate cupcakes. Apply thin coat to cover top of cupcake.

4Pipe into 2 brain lobes. Refrigerate to hold shape.
