- 2 packages (14 Oz Package) Medium Firm Tofu
- 3/4 cups Soy Sauce, Low Sodium
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1 whole Chili Pepper, Sliced
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- Optional Garnish: Chopped Chives Or Green Onions
Directions

1Drain tofu and then set in a strainer to remove excess liquid.

2While tofu is straining, work on the sauce.

3In a bowl whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, chili pepper and honey.

4Coat a large frying pan with oil and turn heat to medium high.

5Pat tofu dry with a paper towel and cut each block of tofu into 12 pieces.

6Carefully place cut tofu in a single layer into the hot pan, cook for about 5-6 minutes or until slightly brown.

7Carefully flip tofu and cook the other sides until slightly brown, about another 6-10 minutes.

8Add marinade and carefully coat the tofu with the marinade.

9Turn heat down to medium and let cook for another 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to absorb into the tofu.

10Serve tofu and sauce with rice.

11You can garnish the dish with chives or green onions.
