Ingredients

  • 1 c. (8 oz.) all-bran cereal
  • 1/2 to 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. 2% or whole milk
  • 1 c. flour (I use whole wheat)
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Mix cereal, raisins, brown sugar and milk well and let stand for 1 hour or longer.

    Then add the flour and baking powder.

    Put in a small, greased loaf pan.

    Bake at 400° for 1 hour or less, until done.

    When cool, refrigerate.

    Doubles well.
