  • 1 cup bran
  • 1 cup shredded wheat
  • biscuits
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 5 teaspoons soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 quart buttermilk

    Use a big bowl with a cover.

    Add 1 cup warm water to the following: 1 cup All Bran, 1 cup Shredded Wheat and 1 cup oatmeal.

    Cream 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup oil and 3 cups sugar.

    Add 4 eggs, one at a time.

    Add cereal mixture.

    Alternate flour mixture (flour, soda and salt) with 1 quart buttermilk to cereal mixture.

    Mix well.

    Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees.

    Do not use paper liners.

    Muffin mix will keep 2-3 months in refrigerator covered.
