  • 1 c. All-Bran
  • 2 c. Raisin Bran
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 pt. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Directions

    Mix All-Bran, Raisin Bran, sugar and water. Stir well. Add all of the buttermilk and soda.

    Mix well.

    Add rest of the ingredients.

    Mix well. Bake 20 minutes in a 400° oven. Can be stored in refrigerator for 5 to 6 weeks.
