  • 1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. A.1. steak sauce
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. brandy
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 (1 lb.) can dark pitted cherries
  • 8 or more canned apricot halves

Directions

    Brown chicken in butter and steak sauce.

    Mix remaining ingredients (except fruits).

    Pour over chicken; simmer 30 minutes.

    Arrange in greased casserole with fruits.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes until well browned and glazed.
