- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. very finely chopped pecans or walnuts
- 2 Tbsp. brandy
- melted white and/or semi-sweet chocolate (opt.)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Lightly grease and flour cookie sheets. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, and corn syrup. Bring to boil over medium heat.

3Stir in flour, pecans or walnuts, and brandy.

4Drop 12 evenly spaced half teaspoonfuls of batter onto prepared cookie sheet.

5Bake 6 minutes or until golden.

6Cool 1-2 minutes or until cookies can be lifted but are still warm and pliable.

7Remove with a spatula.

8Curl around handle of a wooden spoon and slide off when crisp.

9If cookies harden before curling, return to oven to soften.

10Drizzle melted chocolate on top if desired.
