  • 3 c. whole Brazil nuts
  • 2 pkg. (7 1/2 oz.) pitted dates
  • 1 c. maraschino cherries, drained
  • 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together nuts, dates and cherries.

    Sift dry ingredients over them and mix.

    Add eggs and vanilla; mix again.

    Pour into lined loaf pan.

    Bake 1 3/4 to 2 hours at 300°.
