Bread Pudding

  • 2 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 4 c. milk (you can use low-fat)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Heat milk and margarine; pour over bread crumbs and sugar. Stir well until bread becomes very soft.

    Beat eggs; mix well with bread mixture.

    Add vanilla.

    Pour into buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until done.

    Refrigerate.

    Very good hot or cold.
