  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 1 c. day old bread
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Combine milk, butter and bread cubes in greased dish.

    Add sugar and vanilla.

    Beat.

    Beat eggs slightly, then add to bread mixture.

    Place in pan of hot water.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour, then test with knife to see if pudding is done.
