  • 12 c. soft bread cubes
  • 6 c. scalded milk
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • raisins (as many as you would like)
  • 4 beaten eggs

Directions

    Add together the sugar, salt, vanilla, cinnamon and raisins. Add this to the beaten eggs.

    Pour this all over the bread cubes that have been put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Place in a larger pan with 1/2-inch of water in it.

    Bake in a 350° oven for about 1 hour, until inserted knife comes out clean.
