Ingredients

  • 1 sm. loaf bread (white or possibly wheat)
  • 1 can heavy cream
  • 1 c. whole lowfat milk
  • 4 lg. Large eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
  • 1 sm. can crushed pineapple without juice (optional)

Directions

    Break bread into small pcs and place in a large glass baking dish.

    Combine other ingredients and add in to bread.

    Mix well.

    Add in fruit, if you like.

    Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for approximately 30 to 40 min or possibly till golden and rising like a cake in the middle.

    Spread meringue over top and brown lightly as directed.
