  • Approximately 1 loaf of dry, leftover bread (in slices, chunks, etc.)
  • 2 cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cube butter, sliced
  • 1/2 C. grated Romano cheese
  • 1/2 C. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 Pound Muenster cheese, sliced

Directions

    Tear chunks of bread from the loaf and soak in water barely long enough to moisten. Squeeze out excess water. Layer chunks of bread in a casserole dish with cheeses, tomatoes, and pats of butter, ending with butter. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
