Breaded Veal Steak

Ingredients
- 1 lb. veal steak (1/2-inch thick)
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 c. fine breadcrumbs
- 1/4 c. salad oil or fat
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can mushroom, celery, tomato or chicken soup
Directions

1Cut steak into 4 pieces.

2Dip into egg with milk, then into breadcrumbs mixed with salt and paprika.

3Fry veal in heated fat in heavy skillet until well browned.

4Pour 1/2 can of soup mixed with milk over meat.

5Cover and simmer (do not boil) 45 to 50 minutes.

6Remove veal from pan.

7Pour remaining soup, thinned with milk, into pan.

8Stir, heat and serve as sauce.
