Breakaway Vegetable Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 (10 oz.) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 c. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, finely chopped

Directions

    Cut biscuits into fourths.

    Dip each piece in margarine and layer 1/3 of the biscuits in a lightly greased 10-inch Bundt pan. Sprinkle with half the bacon, cheese, onion and green pepper. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with biscuits.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
