Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. margarine, soft
  • 2 c. quick oats
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and press into greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Cut into squares while warm. Mixture will harden as it cools.

    Sometimes I add chocolate chips, coconut, peanut butter chips or all.
  4. 4
    Makes it good and chewy.
