- 1 1/2 c. corn flakes
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. orange peel
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. seedless raisins
Directions

1Measure corn flakes.

2Crush to 3/4 cup.

3Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.

4Set aside.

5Measure margarine and sugar into large mixing bowl.

6Beat until light and fluffy.

7Add eggs and orange peel.

8Beat well.

9Stir in orange juice.

10Add dry ingredients, mixing only until combined.

11Stir in nuts and raisins.

12Spread in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

13Bake in oven at 350° for about 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.

14Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan.

15Cool completely before slicing.
