- 12 slices white bread
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 12 eggs
- 1/3 c. maple syrup
Directions

1Remove and discard crusts from bread; cut bread into cubes. Toss lightly with cream cheese cubes; place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish (pan).

2In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs.

3Add milk, syrup and salt; mix well.

4Pour over bread mixture.

5Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

6Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

7Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

8Yields 6 to 8 servings.
